Summertime Living

. . . “summertime and the living is easy …” which is just what your home should reflect
this time of year … easy living. We Midwesterners move outside in the summer and are
especially possessive of our long daylight hours, beautiful evenings, our outdoor
spaces, and we love to show them off. We relax, dine, and entertain our friends and
family lavishly outdoors as soon as it’s warm enough to do so.

Modern farmhouse

Patios, decks, and porches extend our living spaces, fire-pits, chimneas, and outdoor fireplaces provide
evening ambience as we watch the stars.

There has never been a time when the outdoor space of a home has been given so
much attention and by both Buyers and Sellers – builders are are also returning to front
porches, larger decks, and enhanced patios. The outdoor space of a home can be a
major selling point and it doesn’t take much to accentuate this area.
